“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him?” Psalms 8:3,4.
David spent over fifteen years in exile running from cave to cave and valley to valley, and sometimes alone with only the night sky as his companion. After spending years alone in a natural environment, experiencing the changes of time and seasons, he became overwhelmed with the magnificence of God’s creation and universe. He looked at the sky from a limited perspective, with the naked eye, and yet he saw the glory of God displayed.
Abraham Lincoln said, “I can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I cannot conceive how a man could look up into the heavens and say there is no God.” With powerful telescopes scientists and home hobbyists are able to observe the cosmos and discover more and more about the greatness of the universe. The more we know is the more we discover what we do not know.
With all the greatness of God’s creation, YOU are His greatest. He made you in His image and likeness and to represent Him on earth. You were created in love and with purpose to bring glory to God. You were created in glory and now Christ the hope of Glory lives in you. His ask of you is to: “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. God wants His glory to be seen in and through you. CHAYIL Glory is the manifested power and glory of the LORD Jesus Christ in and through His servants. You are God’s great creation and His vessel of glory.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made by God to display His manifested glory on earth.
