“If you return to the LORD, then your brothers and your children will be shown compassion by their captors and will come back to this land, for the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.” 2 Chronicles 30:9.
God is gracious and compassionate. The Bible encourages us to expect God’s acts of love, compassion, and mercy every day. “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23.
Failure to God is opportunity:
1) For Jesus Christ to apply His Blood for the forgiveness of our sins. “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Matthew 26:28.
2) To fulfill the purpose of the cross. They mocked Jesus during His crucifixion and shouted: “Come down from the cross and save yourself!” Mark 15:30. He didn’t, He died to save you.
3) To confirm that you are an overcomer. “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4.
Failure is not only an opportunity for God to prove His love and power in your life, but also an opportunity for you to experience His unchanging love, graciousness, and compassion. It is an opportunity to learn, grow in experience, and mature in faith. Booker T. Washington says: “True success is measured not so much by the position that one has reached or accomplished in life but by the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.”
As a child of God you are given power as a kingdom enforcer to overcome failures, correct mistakes, and rule your world that is filled with the love and mercy of God.
I am a Kingdom Enforcer to show the love and compassion of God to others. I live in His love.
