“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8.
God tells us how we can grow in favor with God by obeying what He requires of you. Walking in divine favor, gaining holistic prosperity and success are all promised to us by God when we meet His requirements.
1) Act Justly. Do the right thing. Make your choices not by feelings or popularity but by what is right in God’s eyes.
2) Love mercy. Your mercy account grows when you seize opportunities to show mercy instead of vengeance or judgment. “Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7.
3) Walk humbly. Resist pride, proud thoughts, and arrogance. As God begin to prosper you more, grow in humility. Serve others, bless others, and look for opportunities to exalt God. As we walk humbly before God, He will exalt us. “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6.
His grace is with you today as you act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before Him.
I will act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before my God and King.
