“The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:17.
One of the buzz phrases in today’s society is, “Work, Life, Balance.” Companies are sponsoring seminars to help staff who are becoming more and more stressed out and burnt out. People are adding a personal psychiatrist to their personal doctor and dentist. Jesus is our model for perfectly balanced life and determined success.
Jesus balanced His work with rest. “When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake.” Matthew 8:18. He ruled His world. His devotion was to His Father and His duty was to others. Jesus loved the world but the world never consumed nor controlled Him. He submitted Himself to His Father’s control for eternal success.
Let us create a balanced life in wisdom with seven Life Balls and with priorities in mind as we create and rule our world: God, health, family, purpose, work, relationships, friends, and recreation. The pressures of life will try to get you to either ignore or drop one of these Life Balls. But, purpose in your heart to live a balanced life. Believe and create God’s plan for your life, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 2, NKJV. Create your priorities and rule your world with God as your main priority and Source of life and blessings.
I rule my world with the right priorities and with God as my Source of glory.
