“Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John replied, ‘Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:18-20.
The early church grew in numbers, power and fame in the midst of persecution, separation from families, and threats of imprisonment and death. A passionate group of disciples committed themselves to a cause that was greater than themselves and received power and glory from Jesus to serve Him in His mission. CHAYIL is a Hebrew word that describes Power for Change. Nothing or no one could stop them from sharing about Jesus Christ, His life, death and His resurrection. The movement called Christianity was birth to radically save and rescue lives, community and nations from satanic evil powers.
CHAYIL Glory is the manifested power and glory of our LORD Jesus Christ in and through His servants. Jesus described His agenda for His manifested glory in and through His servants, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8. The works of the devil includes violence, shame, poverty, terror, corruption and on and on. It is time for CHANGE. God is empowering a passionate group of disciples to commit to a new movement to destroy the works of the devil. The disciples of Jesus were motivated by three things:
- Faith. They had undaunted faith in Jesus Christ. They saw His power and manifested glory in healing the sick, subduing demons, changing lives and transforming communities. He was now in them to flow through them to save the world.
- Peace. They knew that Jesus is the Prince of Peace to bring peace to hearts, lives, communities, and nations. His glory is transformational.
- Passion. They were motivated by their love for Jesus and their strong desire to fulfill His mission by keeping His message alive, growing the movement that will last for ages, and now Christianity remains the strongest religion.
- Now us. We must ignite our passion with hope for our world and to be a solution for a great cause. Together we can. Let’s PRAY, BELIEVE, and RECEIVE fresh glory (revelation and power) for CHANGE to change us to change our world.
Kingdom Declaration: I am convinced that our world needs salvation and that Jesus Christ is the Savior of our world. I will serve Him.
