“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.” “The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 8:1;19:1
David as a shepherd boy devoted himself to the study of nature and God’s Word. As he lay in the Middle Eastern hills on a clear night gazing into the heavens, he was overwhelmed by the greatness and the excellent power of God.
There are three types of ‘heavens’ that declare the glory of God:
1) The Atmospheric Heaven with the air, sky, and clouds.
2) The Solar Heaven with the sun, planets, moons, satellites, comets, asteroids. The Milky Way is said to contain over 200 billion stars each ‘set in place’ by God to display His awesome glory.
3) The Highest Heaven where God Himself resides with His host of angels and believers.
Science keeps confirming the existence of a greater power outside humanity, a higher being whom we call ‘God’. Nature cries out that there is an Awesome God. The beauty of nature untouched by human hands gives us a glimpse of His excellence in creative power. The Earth, sky and seas with all its life forms declare God’s glory. The awesome Creator, LORD Almighty wants to be our God and Heavenly Father. What a privilege?
Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him above all heavenly hosts. Praise our Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Today, praise God as your Holy Father and exalt the Majestic Name of Jesus Christ, your Savior and King.
God’s awesome Glory that fill the earth and the Name of Jesus revered by kings.
