Rule Your World

Activate the power of God in you to create and rule your world.

“We are created in the image and likeness of God to speak words of faith and rule our world”. Rule Your World, Dr. Pat Francis

A man once lost his ability to speak because he responded in disbelief to news that he was about to be given the thing he long desired and prayed for. In wisdom, God shut Zechariah’s mouth and temporarily disabled his power to create his world. Why? So that in folly, he would not use the power of his words to misalign with what God had guaranteed. Once the gift arrived, Zechariah’s speech was restored (Luke 1:18-20).

It’s so easy to join in and get caught up in debates about all that is happening in the world. When you give your input do you fan the flames of fear or route them with the truth of God? Are you confused or clear minded about right and wrong and about what honors or dishonours God? As you watch the day’s news, are you dismayed and fearful for the future or do you arise and declare that the will and Kingdom of God come on earth as it is in heaven?

Life and death are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21). By this we know that we have the power to create and rule our world by our words.

Let us therefore not engage in foolish arguments. They are unfruitful and only lead to strife (2 Timothy 2:23). Instead, let your conversations be sober. Let your words align with and reflect only what God says in his Word. For within us—in our mouth—we have the power to speak words of truth and rule our world.

4 Practical ways to rule your world daily:

  1. Surrender yourself: Daily surrender your body as a living sacrifice unto God. Yield to His Spirit so you are not overpowered by transient feelings and emotions (Romans 12:1).
  2. Renew your mind daily with God’s Word (Romans 12:2,3).
  3. Confess God’s word over every situation. The Lord will watch over his word to perform it. It shall not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11).
  4. Pray for yourself and also pray for your leaders and all persons in authority that you may live in peace (1Timothy 2:2).

Apply these simple steps daily. Share them with others. Let us activate the CHAYIL great glory of God in our lives and throughout the earth.
