“You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.’ But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your forefathers, as it is today.” (Deut. 8:17,18).
Money is a tool that in the wrong hands can cause great harm but in the right hands can cause great goodness. The Bible says about money: “Money is the answer for everything.” (Eccl.10:19); “Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no desire to get wisdom?” (Prov. 17:16); “Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter.” (Eccl. 7:12); “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Tim. 6:10).
Money can either be constructive or destructive. Money destroys lives who makes it a god; destroys families without the right priorities; destroys the poor with lack. God is looking for financial stewards and distributors, managers of His wealth for His Kingdom purpose on earth. His mission to save the world, build His Church, advance His Kingdom, and fill the earth with His glory requires money.
God is the source of wealth. “‘The silver is mine and gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” (Haggai 2:8). God gives ability, insight, and strategies for wealth creation. If your heart is for God and you are willing to advance His Kingdom then you qualify to be His channel of His wealth. God is looking for you.
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…” (2 Chron 16:9). God is waiting for you.
The LORD Jehovah is my Provider and Supplier for His Kingdom sake.
